
Google Webmaster: it is a free tool provided by Google, which helps us to evaluate & maintain your websiteperformance in the search result. offered as a free service to anyone who owns’s a website. Now, it is renamed as Google search console.

Importance of using Google Webmaster Tools for SEO
1. Search Queries — The search queries section shows the keywords that led users to use in your site, In the search section you can see the number of impression & number of clicks, which tell you about the CTR ( click through rate ) for the keywords. if, it is a higher CTR mean it is the relevant keywords.
2. Links — The second very useful tools of google webmaster is to link to your site section, here it will display where your backlink comes from ( internal & external ) . by knowing where your backlink are coming then easily you might focus more on that, so, to get a good number of traffic to the website . so, dont give link from the bad link site, so, it might affect your website ranking.
3. crawling info — The crawl error section shows the error on google encountered on your site. the data you get is similar when you use the spider simulator. & it shows the inaccessible page, missing page, server page & all sort of problem prevented that correct google from crawling your site.
4. keywords — similarly to the search queries section that deals with keywords, here the keywords section also shows keywords, however, the difference is here that what keywords Google has found & suggested to use in a website to optimize the site. the two lists (of keywords users type and the keywords Google finds on your site) could be very different, which means you are not optimizing for what users are searching for.
5. sitemap — The last section you can access from the Dashboard is the sitemap section. Here you see the sitemaps of your site Google has found and the number of URLs in them. If the sitemap found by Google is different from what you expected it to be, you can submit a new sitemap for Google to use.
